The trip to Bahria Bird Aviary was a wonderful experience on its own because it allowed me to explore the different habitats of different birds that are indigenous and not native to Pakistan. Looking at the different kinds of birds and listening to their voices was soothing. Taking a look at the egg of the second largest bird in the world and its ethereal colour was an experience on its own. Watching the birds peacefully gliding in the air, with no cages to limit their flight, along with the loving caretakers and vet was something worth remembering. Overall, the experience was one that will be remembered by me because it gave me an opportunity to observe birds from a close angle and get to know about their origins and habitats.

"On 18th November, the school arranged a trip to Bird Aviary in Bahria Town, where the tour was lead by the veterinarian. It was a fascinating experience as we got to see so countless species of birds coexisting in one habitat. Bahria has invested a lot love and care for the animals, which can be seen from how they have catered to all the birds according to their needs. The aviary was beautifully made. During the tour, as we saw different types of species we were told about their specific habits, requirements and care, helping us develop our knowledge on birds. All in all, it was an amazing experience which was not only educational but also entertaining. I am glad i got the opportunity to go to Bahria Town Aviary.

" Visiting the Birds Aviary at Bahria Town was an amazing experience. It was the first time I had seen an institution for animals be so well designed and managed. The birds seemed surreal, as if from National Geographic. The different species of birds , their constructed communities and the entire Birds Avery was a facility I thought I'd never see in Pakistan. Not only that but the facility was extremely well maintained. The pathways were washed and the wooden floors were swept to perfection. The birds themselves were very healthy and happy. Birds Aviary is an institution I'd love to visit again. "

The tour in Bahria Bird Aviary was a fascinating experience for I as we walked through the area. What I got to see there makes one stop and take a few seconds to take in the view, the numerous species present and coexisting in one place. Not only was I lucky enough to see, but learn of their history. Combined, this was an opportunity rare to get with species from places outside our country, this made it a memorable experience.
The Bird Parks are setup in botanical garden settings, replicating natural habitats, offering divine experiences amongst hundreds of birds socialising around you just like they would in their natural habitat.
We say you should spend your next weekend at Bahria Town Aviary Lahore and have an amazing learning experience for children's and grown-ups alike.
